History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Hubert reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he has a large pastel mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his tan robe. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Shepherd. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Randal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Randal liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.
