History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
