Description: This man stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'10". He wears a black shirt, with a grey mid length shorts with grey tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Sculptor; and wants a kiss

Description: This man is very fat, and wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to unite with his sister

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. He is portly but not overly obese. He has moderate length white hair. This blue eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and expand his business
