Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair is white and very short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Scribe but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and dresses like a well dressed Mortician does. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are blue.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a red coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. A true patriot, Thomas would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Thomas was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a large brown jacket, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker brown hat.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Arnold was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Miller. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miller responsibilities is difficult; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
