History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and money/treasure

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Diggory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mercenary, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mercenary and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. John enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
