Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and very much looks the part of a Painter. His skin is also unnaturally pale. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His childhood dream was to be a Engraver, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: This man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: With pastel face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is typically in his Cartwright uniform. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. He has green eyes.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He takes great joy in being the best Cartwright in town.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Cory abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He wears professional attire, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'10" when asserting himself. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Body Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a grey tunic with green highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around his shoes. His silver hair is long and unkept. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born in the west. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
