History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Lewis's homeland. Lewis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Manfred enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He got into the Miner business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
