History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When Bertram reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Layabout mother left him crippled. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he is greedy
