History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears long strands of amethyst and short blue dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his broad blue hat.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Charles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Charles abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
