History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized pastel coat. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small pastel clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Aldous's homeland. Aldous decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a great chef.

History: Gifted from a young age, Geoffrey studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Geoffrey grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Geoffrey. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and to be a carter again
