Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, John isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Laborer profession.

History: He got into the Fisher business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

This blue eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
