He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Nicholas never married again.
