William Merton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears green painted combat armor at almost all times. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: William was born with his father's beautiful face. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and sabotage a competitor
Ideals: Opinionated, Artistic. Flaws: Shy. Bonds: Attractive. Occupation: Miller

Peter Thackeray, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a tight fitting pastel shirt and pants, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'2" when asserting himself. His blonde hair is cut short. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.
History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Human compassion; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Henry Shelby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a brown armored body suit, with a simple yellow line shooting up and back down. He wears a colorful flower in his auburn hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants to get laid

Balimaar Branson, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He is an epitome of beauty. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to raise his children well

Manfred Churchill, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep yellow leather and dull pastel iron scale mail. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Manfred was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Manfred decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable
Ideals: Logical. Flaws: Ugly, Disease, Insane. Bonds: Criminal record. Occupation: Spy
