History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
