He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Theobald and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Theobald discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Theobald fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
