Description: 5'0" and muscular, this southern man dresses like a well dressed Stylist does. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born in the north. Gilbert was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barrister who has hired him part-time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle
