History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carpenter and was forced into it by his family.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
