History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Miles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a Guard, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Miles was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shepherd. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

His silver hair is thinning but still full. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
