Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. His white hair is cut short. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Manfred Leighton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His tied-back hair is brown. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 43. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure

Roger Spalding, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
Ideals: Philantrophist. Flaws: Antagonistic. Bonds: Adventurer, Attractive, Slave. Occupation: Stableman
