History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An older man who tends to wear a large tan jacket, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is black and curly. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Miles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Miles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aldous grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aldous. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with white colored cloaks and clothing. His chestnut hair is long and unkept. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Odo's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is silver and curly. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Jocelyn was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Jocelyn decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.
