History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Balimaar's homeland. Balimaar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Balimaar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's in love; and he has a crush on the local spice merchant
