The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a red tunic with violet highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair is long and red with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Henry grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Henry. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright mother left him crippled. During his travels, Reynard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Reynard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Reynard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
