History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Hugh liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born into a rich family. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. During his travels, Ernest and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ernest discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ernest fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
