Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: He sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His hair is silver and curly. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has worked as a Shepherd like his father before him.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He is portly but not overly obese. His black hair is cut short. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gomory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a tattered pair of loose pastel pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: 6'6" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
