History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gunter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his father's many stories. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He became a Painter soon after.
