History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Drogo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
