Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He takes great joy in being the best Cartwright in town.

History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ralf will drive conversation. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Ralf reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Lewis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lewis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
