History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Simon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
