History: He got into the Crown-heir business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gilbert's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adelard's homeland. Adelard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
