The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Everard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Everard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Everard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Everard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
