Adelard Oakes, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Assassin. His blonde hair is singed and shortened. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He is a Lamia in disguise. Adelard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Adelard decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He struck the Assassin job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Roger Tyndall, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An older man who wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is greedy

Diggory Braxton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His white hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Diggory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
