Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His head has been shaved. This violet eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Hugh isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Hugh and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hugh discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hugh fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is a Gardener first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He worked as a nervous Gardener and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His long blonde hair reaches down to his waist. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Stableman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Stableman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and sabotage a competitor
