He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerald. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Kody was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kody was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Conrad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He bought a whip and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Ernest was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Seamstress. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.
