Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'7" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He has no hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Anselm never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: Odo was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He tends to wear a red poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with blue lining and desert motifs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his feathered blue hat.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.
History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
