History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Marshal kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in a small desert village. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Seamstress, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and regain custody of his daughter
