History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Carter soon after.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nicholas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is an amazing painter.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Gifted from a young age, William studied abroad. William liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Reynard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Reynard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and to prove his worth to the world
