Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a shortspear on his belt, and is pretty ugly. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Raymond does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Raymond was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raymond fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Interpreter born in the past three hundred years. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has worked as a Interpreter like his father before him.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He worked as a nervous Performer and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new performer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
