Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a green cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings, and is pretty ugly. His hair is long and black with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Theodoric was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He wears his red hair up. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in a small forest village. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to protect his home

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Aldous is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and regain custody of his son
