He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Anselm was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
