Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Detective but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Theobald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Body Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Body Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: This man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. This amber eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Charles was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Charles decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
