He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: John speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Odo was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
