History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and many orcs want him driven away

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a violet coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
