However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has worked as a Sage like his mother before him.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Banker mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and many giants want him driven away
