In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Theodoric alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born in the north. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
