History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: An older man who prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Adelard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He got into the Baker business at a young age. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gilbert isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gilbert was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.
