After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Percival was born with his mother's beautiful face. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Being a Dyer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Arnold hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
