History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When Frederick reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ralf grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Body Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: This man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Henry does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Henry hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Randal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bowyer for the past few years.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new bowyer responsibilities is difficult
