History: Born to a Locksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Adelard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
