Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Simon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. His hair is cut close to his head. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his broad green hat.

Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult
