History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Kyle lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Robert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Robert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
